Printing Instructions:
To print at home, open the “PRINT AT HOME FILE” which is compatible with both A4 and US Letter paper.
Set to 100% SCALE.
Always start by printing page 1 and measuring the scale box to verify accuracy. Note: HD Printers may need to cut an additional .5" off the bottom of the page.
If you prefer to print on large-format (A0 size) paper, you can send the “A0” file to a local copy shop, requesting that they print it at 100% scale. Alternatively, consider using the online service PDF Plotting, which often has more competitive prices than local copy shops. To project your files at home, open the projector file in Adobe Acrobat Reader. This file includes a grid of 1" squares for calibration. You can toggle the grid on or off using the eye icon in the layers panel.
Layered Sizing
Larae Handmade patterns feature layered format, allowing you to hide sizes you don’t need. It’s advisable to do this to ensure all pattern markings for your selected size are clearly visible. To access your size’s layer, you'll need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader (which is free) installed on your computer. After opening the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader, click on the layers icon on the right side of the screen. Once the layers are visible, simply click the eye icon next to any sizes you wish to hide. Remember not to turn off the “Labels” or “DO NOT UNLOCK” layers.
