Just Dropped
Just Dropped
Back in the day, rural families didn’t let much go to waste - old cotton and linen sacks were turned into just about everything. During the Great Depression, feed sacks weren’t just for grain, they became fabric for dresses, aprons, and curtains. Now, we’re giving that tradition a modern twist, turning damaged feed sacks into one-of-a-kind handmade pieces with stories to tell.
This Camp Coat with made with Rare Feedsacks from the 1940’s-1960’s (see individual descriptions below in “Materials Used”).
Made to look and feel like a traditional Chore Coat, it has an organic cotton line, boxy bit, and slightly cropped length (24”). There are 2 Patch Pockets on the outside with 1 inside pocket for extra storage. Heavy Duty snap buttons. Some minimal stains and wear due to the age of the vintage feedsacks.
